Our Mission

The Patton Veterans Project (PVP) uses collaborative filmmaking as a therapeutic gateway for veterans coping with posttraumatic and other service-related stress to validate their service accomplishments, reduce social isolation, strengthen family, community and professional bonds, and link them with care.

Through regular community screenings, PVP strives to break down barriers between veterans and civilians, and educate the public about the mental health challenges facing veterans and military families today.

Family First

After being discharged from the military, a veteran must confront his family, grappling with the shame of leaving service.

Maybe This Time

On his day off, a reluctant clinician faces his own burnout while a veteran searches for someone willing to truly listen.

The Hand You're Dealt

During a simple card game, four veterans reflect on the trauma they carried home, deciding whether to remain shaped by the past or take a step toward something lighter.

We are Patton Vets

Through collaborative filmmaking, veterans coping with service-related trauma reclaim their stories, rebuild connection, and invite civilians to see the cost of service - and the people who carry it.
